This program provides a non-partisan analysis of the forthcoming election and its particular significance and importance to the Jewish community. Designed to explore the history of the Jewish vote, an examination of the current issues and trends that are central to this campaign, and an assessment of the key indicators likely to influence Jewish voting behavior. Dr. Steven Windmueller is an Emeritus Professor of Jewish Communal Studies at Hebrew Union College, where he served as Director of the School of Jewish Nonprofit Management and Dean of the LA campus. With a Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania, his research focuses on Jewish communal trends, anti-Semitism, and Jewish political behavior. Dr. Windmueller currently consults on issues impacting American Jewish life, including virtual Judaism and the effects of COVID, and continues to write and teach globally.
