Shabbat Morning Learning and Conversation with Doug Mishkin

Doug Mishkin is a lawyer, teacher, and singer-songwriter who is well-known in the Reform Jewish community for his array of social justice contributions. We will welcome him as a scholar-and-artist-in-residence, where Doug will speak on the theme of "The UnSeparation of Church and State: From The Scopes Monkey Trial to Today's Supreme Court."

Open to all, engage in a "text study" with Doug and explore how religious and other "texts" were analyzed in Scopes trial, and how the reading of the Constitution as "text" is applied to modern issues.

Morning Minyan will be at 9:30am in person and on Zoom as usual.
