Mitzvah Day RSVP

Sunday, January 19th | 10 AM - 12 PM

Join us for our annual Mitzvah Day, when we will be celebrating Sinai’s long-standing commitment to social action! This takes the place of religious school that day, but activities are geared toward participants of all ages.

Activities will include:

- Making bagged lunches for community members experiencing homelessness

- Packing bags with non-perishable food for local school children to eat on weekend

- Making fleece blankets for children living in a shelter

- Decorating garden signs for the community garden at Stone Temple Church

- Creating “plarn” (plastic yarn) that is woven into sleeping mats for those who are unhoused

- Sorting donations for several local social service agencies to hand out

- Decorating cards for bagged lunches to brighten people’s days
